Crimeans advised ways to bypass the Tavrida highway after explosions at the training ground

Either traffic jams on the old road, or serpentine

In Crimea, due to a fire at the Starokrymsky training ground, the Tavrida highway leading to the Crimean bridge, which was damaged several days ago during a terrorist attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was blocked. Now buses, trucks and cars are forced to take a detour route, and their travel time will become even longer. MK learned about how this happens and what inconveniences you may encounter.

“Tavrida” is considered a convenient and high-speed road. It passes away from most settlements, so it was convenient to travel along it. Now motorists entering and leaving Crimea are most concerned about finding a new route.

According to the Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, now when driving from Simferopol along the Tavrida highway, you should change the route. Now the highway is blocked in the section from the 118th to the 130th kilometer.

In the area of the village of Lgovskoye, you need to turn off the road onto the old road. You can go to the “Tavrida” through the urban settlement Pervomaiskoe or Feodosia.

The route of movement in the opposite direction is similar, or along the road Feodosia – Belogorsk. The loop in this case is only 10 extra kilometers, but the old road is two-lane and runs through settlements, which significantly reduces the speed of movement. At the moment, there are no traffic jams on the road, on the maps it is marked in green almost along the entire route, and drivers do not have any difficulties due to a detour. But if a motorist suddenly decides to turn even lower, driving along the Feodosia Bay, then traffic there is already slightly difficult: the road is marked yellow.

“You can still turn from Alushta towards Sudak on the Sudak ring and drive along the sea,” Ekaterina, a resident of Alushta, shared with MK. But this route is very exhausting. There is a rather difficult road – sharp turns, passengers are swayed, the driver gets tired.

“If you drive from Yalta, then after Simferopol, the traffic police blocked the passage along the Tavrida in front of Belogorsk,” says local resident Andrei. “They are all sent to the right. Well, traffic jams will now be on the tracks, be healthy, weaned from them.

At the Starokrymsky training ground, according to media reports, explosions are still heard. No damage was recorded outside the landfill, but the evacuation of four settlements, where about two thousand people live, was announced in the vicinity. We are talking about Privetnoy, Abrikosovka, Aivazovsky and Krinichki. People will be accommodated in temporary accommodation facilities located in schools. They will be provided with hot meals and everything you need. According to the Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, the evacuation will not be long and will take only a day or two.

However, not all residents want to evacuate. Someone is afraid of marauders

“I remain calm,” a resident of one of the villages told MK. – If I had a panic, I probably would have evacuated. We are sitting at home with the child.

– What security measures are taken by those who cannot evacuate?

– I think it’s safer outside the house, on the street. We sealed the window panes to reduce the chance of injury from shrapnel. And it’s better if all the doors are open.

Detour scheme.

Tourists, on the other hand, are not stopped by road difficulties and accidents on the territory of the peninsula; many have not changed their minds about spending their holidays there. “I will still go to the Crimea. I will be with you. Sevastopol, wait for us! – wrote in social networks Muscovite Antonina.
