A resident of Yalta has become a defendant in a criminal case on the public discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces, the press service of the regional department of the TFR reported.
According to law enforcers, a 35-year-old man has already been brought to administrative responsibility twice in connection with public statements directed against the use of the RF Armed Forces. Despite this, a few weeks ago, while drunk, he again shouted slogans at a public transport stop that discredited the activities of the Russian army.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the RF Armed Forces). “The man fully admitted his guilt, repented of his deed and explained his illegal behavior by alcohol abuse,” the TFR specified.
