Crimean authorities reported a significant increase in investment in the free economic zone

Since the beginning of the year, the influx of investments into the Free Economic Zone has doubled, said the head of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Konstantinov. According to him, since January, capital investments in the SEZ have amounted to about 26 billion rubles, which is twice as much as last year.
“Every year the volume of investments within the Free Economic Zone increases… We will continue to do everything in our power to ensure that we have more projects that bring Crimea to a new level of development,”— wrote Konstantinov in his Telegram channel.
Let us recall that, according to the Crimean authorities, 1,153 participants are registered in the peninsula’s SEZ, who are implementing 1,237 investment projects. In total, during the operation of the SEZ, about 266 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of investment projects. investments, of which capital investments amounted to about 174 billion rubles, more than 82.3 thousand jobs were created, including about 3.5 thousand since the beginning of 2023.
