TASS: Crimean astronomer discovered an asteroid potentially dangerous to the Earth
Crimean amateur astronomer Gennady Borisov discovered a large asteroid with a diameter of about 200 meters that is potentially dangerous to the Earth.
How reports TASS, the celestial body was identified by an astronomer in March, but the astronomer did not have time to record the discovery. After the application was submitted, five observatories began to observe it, but the asteroid performed a gravitational maneuver and entered the daytime zone inaccessible for observation.
According to Gennady Borisov, since the beginning of the year, only six dozen similar asteroids have been discovered in the world.
