The air in Crimea warmed up to 30 degrees Celsius, updating the temperature record that had stood for more than 100 years, the Republican Hydrometeorological Center told Kommersant. According to experts, on October 22–23, the thermometer in some areas of the peninsula reached 30 degrees. The previous maximum at this time of year was recorded in the fall of 1916 – +26.5 degrees.
Experts note that such a sharp warming is associated with a warm front coming from the south. According to them, by October 25 it will be replaced by a cold front.
