Court in Vladimir blocked publications about referendums in Donbass

The Leninsky District Court of Vladimir granted the administrative claim of the military prosecutor’s office to block the publications of a number of publications, including RTVI, the Kazakh resource nur.kz and Wikinews, about referendums in the Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on the issue of joining Russia. In particular, blocked publication RTVI “How was the first day of referendums in the Russian-controlled territories of Ukraine” of September 24 and material nur.kz “Zelensky commented on the referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine.” Also on the list is the page of a blogger with the nickname jonson55555 in LiveJournal and material from the Wikinews resource.
The decision of the court noted that “the availability of free access on Internet resources at the indicated e-mail addresses of the information presented violates the rights of an indefinite circle of persons and is contrary to the norms of the current legislation, violates the public interests of the state.” The court decided to recognize these publications as “information, the distribution of which is prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.”
The decision was made on November 3 and has not yet entered into force.
In particular, the following wordings are recognized as prohibited for distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation: “on holding fictitious referendums by the Russian Federation”, “on illegal actions of the country’s leadership, in particular, the President of the Russian Federation on holding partial mobilization in the country”.
