Court in Moscow arrests three Ukrainian spies in absentia for kidnapping volunteers from DPR

The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia three employees of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They are charged with attempting to kidnap volunteers who took part in hostilities on the side of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Vyacheslav Orekhov, Dmitry Shimansky and Vladislav Gavrish were arrested.
A measure of restraint was chosen in the form of detention in absentia for a period of two months, the court said. All three are accused of a number of grave and especially grave crimes: murder committed in a generally dangerous way, robbery, illegal possession of weapons, illegal border crossing, and kidnapping by an organized group.
