The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined the rapper Oxxxymiron (Miron Fedorov, recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) for calling for separatism by 70,000 rubles.
According to the prosecutor’s office of St. Petersburg, the reason for the trial was the song “Oida”, the clip for which the rapper published on his social networks.
The prosecutor’s office requested a psychological and linguistic examination, which revealed in the text of this work calls for the separation of part of its territory from Russia.
The Oktyabrsky Court is also considering a lawsuit to ban the song “Oida”. On Monday, a preliminary meeting on this case was held, at which the musician did not appear. The hearing was adjourned until February 7.
Recall that in the fall of last year, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow recognized Oxxxymiron’s song “Last Call” as extremist.
