Mission Control Center (MCC) instructed Russian cosmonaut Sergei Prokopyev to lay additional ventilation in the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft. This follows from the negotiations between the ISS crew and the Earth. The ship had previously leaked from the cooling system.
“Sergey, we will have work to do – to lay additional ventilation in the Soyuz,” said a representative of the MCC during the negotiations. “At a convenient time today, please work it out.” The conversations are broadcast by NASA.
Earlier, Roskosmos reported that in order to maintain a comfortable temperature in the living space of the ship, the supply of cooled air from the Russian segment of the ISS is used. The temperature in the damaged compartment of the Soyuz-MS-22, according to the state corporation, reached 40 degrees.
A preliminary inspection of the Soyuz-MS-22 spacecraft showed earlier that there was a small hole of 0.8 mm in the cooling system, due to which depressurization occurred.
