Sports director of FC Corinthians Rubens Gomes spoke about the loan of Zenit defender Robert Renan. His words are quoted by the Championship publication.
According to Gomes, Corinthians will not be a springboard for anyone. The club’s sports director noted that Renan was being sold to an English club.
“Robert Renan is being sold to an English club, he will only stay here for six months and then leave”Gomes said.
Renan joined the blue-white-blue squad in January 2023. Then he moved to Zenit as a free agent. Renan’s contract with the St. Petersburg club runs until 2028.
