American corporation Microsoft released update of the Copilot AI assistant, thanks to which it learned to explain the meaning of what was written in the Notepad application. Also the company improved AI assistant functionality, making it more convenient to use.
In Notepad, you can now select a piece of text and then select the “Explain with Copilot” function: the AI assistant will explain the contents of the text. The company believes that the feature will be useful for studying code segments, log files or any other content.
Copilot has also become more optimized for executing various work commands. When copying text, the AI assistant will immediately offer to either paste the fragment into the chatbot field or summarize the content. If you drag an image onto the Copilot icon, an assistant will be launched that can transfer the image to the chatbot, where you can continue interacting with it. All current innovations are available to users in an early build of Canary for Windows Insider users.
