Consumer prices in Russia have increased by 10.4% since the beginning of the year

Inflation in Russia for the week from September 27 to October 3 amounted to 0.07%, and consumer price growth since the beginning of the year – 10.4%, Rosstat reported. The Ministry of Economy reported that annual inflation in the country last week slowed to 13.49% from 13.71% a week earlier.

According to the Rosstat report, among food products, prices increased the most over the week for chicken eggs (+1.5%), sausages (+0.4), meat and pasta (+0.3%), cottage cheese (+0.2 %).

Price reduction is fixed for buckwheat (-2.1%), sugar (-1.4%), millet (-0.6%), sour cream (-0.3%).
