In the village of Elovo, work has begun on the construction of a pump track for cycling. The object will be located in a new recreation area near the River Station on the street. Lenina, 2e. The opening of the pump track is scheduled for September.
The construction is being carried out under the supervision of the Perm Territory Cycling Federation, the regional Ministry of Sports said. The pump track under construction is of the initial level of difficulty. The site has already been marked with the future relief of the pump track, the laying of drainage pipes begins, then the base will be made of crushed stone, “waves” of ASG and two layers of asphalt. A fence will be built around the pump track, lighting fixtures and benches with trash cans will be installed, the ministry said.
The total cost of the facility is more than 5.3 million rubles. Of these, 4 million rubles. allocated from the regional budget, the rest – the funds of the Elovsky municipal district.
In total, this year it is planned to build three pump tracks in the Kama region, two others – in Kudymkar and the village of Barda. The construction of such facilities became possible due to the expansion of the list of site options for which municipalities can receive a subsidy from the Ministry of Sports.
