Congressman McCarthy accuses DOJ of attacking Trump

Kevin McCarthy, speaker of the US House of Representatives, accused the country’s Department of Justice of wanting to suppress former President Donald Trump, who is perceived by many as the main opponent of the current head of the White House, Joe Biden, in the upcoming elections.
On his Twitter account, McCarthy stated that new accusations against Trump are aimed at creating a negative image of the main candidate from the Republican Party. He also noted that many in the US see the Department of Justice trying to attack Trump for his political stance.
Earlier, the American media pointed out that these accusations against Trump are an attempt to drown out the story related to the son of the current president, Hunter Biden, as well as an investigation into corruption in the family of the American leader. Significantly, Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer confirmed that the president had spoken to his son’s business contacts, but said those conversations were formal and did not involve corruption.
McCarthy is confident that Republicans in the House of Representatives will continue to investigate and uncover the truth about the Biden corporation and the alleged two-tier justice system.
