Computer prices are likely to rise in the fall

The fall of the euro against the dollar is driving up PC prices for European consumers, while global sales are falling.
It’s the cold shower. Computer sales are falling. In the second quarter, they fell by 12.6% according to Gartner worldwide, or 10 million fewer PCs sold in one year. The plunge is even more impressive in Europe and the United States, with sales volumes down 18% and 17.5% respectively.
Customers thwart all predictions. Analysts, manufacturers and subcontractors, however, competed in optimism for 2022. They saw a market firmly established at the levels reached in 2020 and 2021, during the pandemic, between 320 and 340 million devices sold. Demand was then driven by companies and consumers concerned with equipping themselves for telecommuting, entertainment at home, playing, learning, etc. This development marked a change of scale, with the passage from one computer per household to one computer per nobody. But the rebound was short-lived.
