Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin that the Prosecutor General’s Office receives quite a few complaints from participants in the special military operation and their families about violations of rights.

“Unfortunately, we are receiving signals… There are a lot of these signals,” Krasnov said. He clarified that at the very beginning of the SVO, complaints were mainly related to a lack of uniforms or non-payment of allowances. And recently, “there have been many complaints about delays in payments for injuries,” the Prosecutor General noted.

Krasnov also said that there are complaints in connection with the awarding of state awards.

He assured that a prompt response is carried out in each case and where there is a need, prosecutors react harshly.
