Members of the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee sent a request to the Department of Defense and the State Department to report on the spending of $113 billion allocated to help Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the committee, James Comer.
According to Komer, the committee is now reviewing aid to Ukraine, which is provided through tax revenues. In total, Congress approved $113 billion in aid for the year.
Government structures should, according to the congressman, report on their expenses. This is necessary to reduce the risk of waste and fraud in providing assistance to Kyiv, the congressman emphasizes.
