Commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine accused of leaking operational information to Russian troops

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to attack its units. Only in the last 24 hours, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the losses of the enemy amounted to almost 700 people. Some military correspondents in the NVO zone note that the Russian army is increasingly receiving data on the location of the enemy and successfully delivering strikes on positions. There is a version that the data is “leaked” by the VSE people themselves, who understand the hopelessness of their situation.

On the morning of August 8, fighting continued in the area of ​​​​Urozhaynoye in the Ugledar direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine daily try to gain a foothold there on the outskirts of the village.

By lunchtime, the military department reported three successfully repulsed attacks: in the areas of the settlements of Nikolskoye and Harvest, units of the Vostok group of troops, aviation and artillery repelled three attacks by assault groups of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 37th marine corps brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The report of the Ministry of Defense noted the active work of operational-tactical and army aviation. So, the pilots attacked the accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 31st mechanized brigade, the 110th and 128th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Staromayorskoye DPR and Priyutnoye, Zaporozhye region. Only here the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the dead, wounded and taken prisoner amounted to 125 Ukrainian servicemen. Eight armored combat vehicles and two D-30 howitzers were destroyed.

Enemy losses are staggering. According to military correspondent Andrei Rudenko, it is obvious that the Armed Forces of Ukraine changed tactics, stopped using a large number of Western armored vehicles to attempt a breakthrough and switched back to “meat assaults”.

Previously, the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned to the old tactics of “small groups” was criticized by the foreign military. Ukrainian generals, not remaining in debt, noted that NATO instructors do not understand all the intricacies of military operations in Ukraine.

“Technique (APU) brings soldiers up and leaves, and then, under heavy fire, legs, not everyone reaches. Our artillery grinds the enemy on the outskirts of the village. The enemy suffers heavy losses. But Kyiv does not care about heavy losses, as if distraught, they are throwing more and more people into the attack, ”the military correspondent wrote in his Telegram channel.

Another curious observation of his is that our forces are increasingly receiving information in advance about the immediate plans of the enemy. So this time it happened on the northern flank of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), where the enemy attempted to break through our positions near the Berkhovsky reservoir. However, our artillery met him with dense fire and, having suffered heavy losses, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to roll back to their positions.

According to the military correspondent, our military knows in advance about all the plans of the enemy, since “many in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine understand that their situation is catastrophic and cooperation is the only chance not to fall under the (Russian) military tribunal.” Therefore, he believes, there are so many burnt enemy equipment on the marches.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, over the past day, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 685 soldiers.

The New York Times, in a new report from the Zaporozhye Front, was forced to admit that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were really colossal – one of the brigades trained by the West had already been withdrawn from the front line due to losses.

The publication notes that at the beginning of the counteroffensive, some brigades, trying to break through the Russian defenses, suffered a complete collapse. As a result, at least “one new brigade was so exhausted by losses that it was withdrawn from the battlefield to rebuild.”

A Ukrainian battalion commander named Aleksandr admitted to a foreign journalist that his brigade suffered heavy losses in June when his troops stumbled across minefields and came under pressure from Russian artillery and airstrikes.

“I’ve lost a lot and some of the newcomers are mentally broken,” he said.

In addition, according to the publication, soldiers on the front line accused the commanders of “pushing recruits into battle and using untested units in the vanguard of the counteroffensive.”

Ukrainian servicemen also complain about Western military equipment. According to them, not all of it is suitable for military operations in Ukraine. In particular, American armored vehicles MaxxPro, which were designed to fight insurgents, and not with the firepower of the Russian army, let down the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Telegram channel, which specializes in insider information, notes that in the office of President Zelensky, they increasingly began to talk about the danger of long positional battles – the longer they go, the faster the morale of the Armed Forces of Ukraine falls.

“Most of the problems for the soldiers are due to the fact that the military rear leadership is trying to curry favor and throwing infantry into minefields, as if to slaughter. Seeing such an attitude, the soldiers become demoralized,” the channel wrote.
