Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny appealed to the Ministry of Defense with a request to allow those who are not subject to conscription during mobilization to travel abroad, Ukrainian Telegram channels report.
As the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yulia Grishina clarified, we are talking, in particular, about students. Further decisions, according to her, will be made by the Cabinet of Ministers and, in particular, the head of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov.
Earlier it was reported that the Security Service of Ukraine revealed a scheme for the export of conscripts to the part of the Zaporozhye region, which is controlled by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian special services claim that the organizer of this “scheme” was a resident of Mariupol, who transported his acquaintances from the cities controlled by Kyiv to Melitopol, having previously prepared for everyone a “legend” that they have relatives in Russian-controlled territories or are volunteering. The SBU noted that the man provided conscripts with housing and even helped to move to the Crimea. He is charged with an article on the illegal transfer of people across the border with Ukraine. The State Border Service of Ukraine also noted that a similar situation was identified in the Kharkiv region.
