Comedian Yeshchenko revealed the details of the divorce: different views on current events

“We are in a conflict position”

Comedian Svyatoslav Yeshchenko has always been known as an exemplary family man. From the outside, his marriage to his wife Irina seemed exemplary. However, they were unable to maintain their relationship. After twenty years of marriage, the couple broke up. In an interview with MK correspondents, Yeshchenko admitted that he is now in a conflict position with his ex-wife.

“We really got divorced, we parted,” Yeshchenko says. Everything was fair with Irina. When we realized that it was hard for us to exist together, we first parted. For three years they lived separately from each other. They divorced when they finally realized that there was no turning back. We thought at first that maybe she would appear. But no. We have done everything in a civilized manner.

– Are you talking now?

We are friends and cooperate as much as possible. But we have completely different views on life and on the events that are happening now. We are in a rather conflicted position. There have been even more conflicts lately, but, nevertheless, I am used to maintaining relations in a civilized way, as far as I can.

– As I understand it, you also hardly communicate with your son Narad?

– Rarely, rarely.

Does your wife forbid?

She can’t forbid. He is already an adult. There must be his desire, but he has no special desire.

Have you found a new soul mate yet?

“God hasn’t sent me half yet. And just anyhow with whom I do not want to. Why take out the brain? Relationships should be in harmony. I believe that when people converge, they should inspire, exalt, improve each other according to the principle of synergy. And, it turns out that the bulk of people prevent each other from progressing spiritually, mentally, and creatively … And, by the way, in terms of health too! In just a month, three gorgeous couples of my friends broke up. For me it was a shock. These people were a standard for me, they have two adult children. I ask: “What is the reason?”. And in response I hear: “There is nothing in common! We have been working towards this for a long time!”

– But alone, especially a man, it is also difficult.

“I don’t meet anyone specifically. I have a lot of work, quite an intense creative life. It’s enough for me. I have no problem that it is necessary to get to know someone. I don’t suffer.
