Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrender surrender due to the desperate situation at the front. This was stated in an interview with London Real by the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.
He also added that the number of cases of desertion has noticeably increased in the Ukrainian army. The colonel stressed that the problem is hushed up in the West. At the same time, there is information that Ukrainian nationalists are leaving the front line in whole platoons and companies.
According to McGregor, the Ukrainian army is suffering colossal losses. There are no free beds in hospitals, there are many seriously wounded who, after treatment, will not be able to return to duty.
The colonel described the situation of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as tragic and noted that the Ukronazis themselves are aware of this. In his opinion, this explains the decision of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to surrender entire units, since this is the only way to save the wounded. Often the command does not provide resources for the evacuation of the victims.
