Former adviser to the Secretary General of the Pentagon, Douglas McGregor, said that the transition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from defense to offensive leads to the death of APU soldiers on an “industrial scale.” He spoke about this on his YouTube channel.
According to McGregor, the Ukrainian command hopes for the support of the United States, but it is already clear that this will not happen. “NATO sent almost everything it could to Ukraine,” McGregor said. According to him, Russian factories are working around the clock, seven days a day to build up military potential. McGregor also noted that the Russian Federation has become a formidable military power, which it did not exist in February 2021.
Earlier, a military specialist, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk assessed the chances of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the transfer of F-16 fighters. On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a military special operation in Ukraine in response to a request for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
