Colonel Matviychuk gave a forecast about the next assassination attempts and terrorist attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukraine, against the backdrop of failures at the front, has sharply increased the number of terrorist attacks on Russian territory in recent days, including with the use of kamikaze drones. More than 40 drones took part in the night raid on the Crimea on August 25. Former special forces officer, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, appreciated this trend and gave MK his own forecast of what the next steps of the Ukrainian special services might be.

The expert did not rule out that Kyiv would go, in particular, to the organization of assassination attempts on Russian figures and leaders of public opinion.

– At risk are Russian journalists, war correspondents and State Duma deputies who actively advocate for providing soldiers in the NVO zone with everything they need, – said Matviychuk. – Also, I do not rule out the possibility of terror against the Russian leaders of district, regional and even central administrative centers.

– What objects Ukraine can try to blow up?

– Judging by past terrorist attacks, bridges, power plants and large regional cities of federal significance are in the greatest danger. From the point of view of military expediency, Ukrainian saboteurs will practically not be able to harm us. Several hundred thousand factories operate in our country, it is physically unrealistic for them to destroy even one hundred! That is why the SBU agents are trying to intimidate the Russian people with the help of terrorist attacks and assassination attempts.

– How to avoid it?

– It is urgent to strengthen administrative and civil control. Citizens of Russia should become more observant: they saw a suspicious bag without an owner – report it where necessary. This leads to the second problem – where exactly to turn? It is necessary to organize centers within the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the troops of the National Guard, which will monitor this.

– Could it be that Ukraine really likes to time its terrorist attacks on certain dates?

– I’m not hinting at anything, but the explosion on board the plane of Yevgeny Prigozhin occurred on the Independence Day of Ukraine. We see that saboteurs often carry out terrorist attacks on memorable dates: Bandera’s birthday and the like.

Of course, by these dates it is necessary to be especially vigilant, and not only law enforcement agencies, but also ordinary citizens.

– What methods do Ukrainian agents use to carry out terrorist attacks and assassination attempts?

– Explosives are the favorite means of “specialists” from the West, engaged in sabotage and elimination. Not surprisingly, terrorist attacks have become a favorite tool of Ukrainian agents.

In addition, you must understand that an extensive network of ill-wishers was formed in Russia over the course of eight years. I assume that in all Russian regions there are people who are involved in one way or another and work for the SBU and military intelligence.

Most likely, with the subsidence of active hostilities, we should expect a sharp surge in terrorist acts by Ukrainian saboteurs at infrastructure, transport and economic hubs.

– It turns out that there are a lot of sleeping cells on our territory?

– Unfortunately yes. The fact is that we have accepted a huge number of refugees from the territory of Ukraine – more than five million. I assume that some of them were sent to us on purpose.

These people perform the functions of spies, transmission links and active saboteurs in the collection, processing and transmission of information about our army, as well as in organizing terrorist acts. The launches of drones on Moscow are also their work.

– Who from foreign countries helps them to organize terrorist attacks?

– First of all, Great Britain, then the United States of America, the Netherlands and, finally, Belgium.
