Collective immunity to COVID-19 in Russia decreased to 8.6%

Over the week, the collective immunity of Russians to coronavirus infection decreased by 2.1%, from 10.7% to 8.6%, reports operational headquarters. In Moscow, this figure dropped to 3.4% – on July 22 it was 8.7%. In early summer, herd immunity reached a level of 31%.

The incidence of COVID-19 in Russia is growing for the third day in a row: 18,555 cases of infection were recorded over the past day (+ 26.76% compared to yesterday’s figures). The number of daily hospitalizations decreased slightly, by 0.52% compared to yesterday (1906 cases).

Against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of Rospotrebnadzor recommended people from vulnerable groups to use medical masks in public places, despite the fact that on July 1 all coronavirus restrictions were canceled.
