This was stated by one of the co-owners of Truth Social Will Wilkerson. According to The Washington Post, he filed a lawsuit for violation of securities laws with the US Federal Securities and Exchange Commission.
The complaint was filed at the end of the summer. According to the author of the lawsuit, after the first appeal to the media about what is happening around the social network, he was fired from the post of first deputy chairman of the company. This step was explained by the disclosure of confidential information by Wilkerson.
Wilkerson also admitted to witnessing a telephone conversation during which Donald Trump demanded that Andy Litinsky, another co-founder of the company, transfer shares to his wife, Melania. He objected. Trump responded by promising to destroy the company if his terms were not met, Wilkerson said. Litinsky was later removed from the board of directors. And at the moment there is no data whether he managed to keep his stake.
Donald Trump decided to create his own social network after his Twitter account was blocked. This happened after his supporters tried to prevent the US Congress from approving the results of the presidential election, the winner of which was declared Joe Biden.
