Kim Kardashian has launched the Skims line, a line of swimsuits in different sizes with promotional images of women in the body. Swimsuits are in videos of cycling suits, mid-waisted cycling shorts, and long-sleeved one-piece swimsuits in addition to skin-revealing cut-out monokinis, triangle bikini tops, and bandeau tops.
Women looking for plus size suits no longer have to settle for skimpy offers – at Miami Swim Week in July, designers including Cupshe and Bfyne unveiled collections to suit all sizes.
“The culture has changed and swimwear is changing to fit this cultural moment,” Becky McCharen-Tran, founder of New York-based brand Chromat, told CNN.
