British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said that more than six months after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Russia “has not yet achieved any of its strategic goals.” Writes about it CNN.
In Britain, they believe that Russia allegedly “continues to lose a significant amount of equipment.” Britain is counting on the fact that these losses will have a long-term impact on Moscow’s combat capability in the future.
The defense minister also accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of “arming” the energy industry and urged his fellow deputies to report on the state of affairs to their constituents.
“I think it’s important that we get across to our constituents that some of the extremely uncomfortable times we are all facing are actually caused by a totalitarian and regime in Russia that deliberately intends to harm us and is trying to test us to see if we will sacrifice our values for the sake of energy costs,” said a British official.
Wallace also called for the unity of all of Europe during the winter.
Recall that almost all European countries are waiting for an energy crisis in the winter of 22/23 due to the refusal of Russian gas.
