CNN announced the details of the death of an American mercenary in Ukraine

CNN channel made public some details about a US citizen who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and died in August during the fighting in the Donbass.
It is specified that we are talking about 24-year-old Joshua Jones, whose body was handed over by the Russian military in the Zaporozhye region to the mercenary’s father, Geoff Johns.
The man told reporters that the State Department had informed the family about the return of his son’s body. The transfer took place north of Vasylivka, in the Russian-controlled Zaporizhia region.
“Ukrainians were able to identify Joshua’s body by tattoos and other identifying features… We returned it!… I can’t tell you what a burden has been lifted from our family,” the father of the deceased admitted.
It should be noted that back in August, the DPR authorities reported that they had transferred the remains of Jones to the local morgue and were ready to discuss their transfer to the family.
