CNBC: After Musk’s purchase of Twitter, Tesla’s competitors are pulling ads on the social network

After the purchase of the social network by Elon Musk, the largest American automobile corporation General Motors temporarily stops posting ads on Twitter. This is reported by the business news channel CNBC.
GM, which competes with Musk-owned electric car maker Tesla, said it was suspending its Twitter ads but will continue to use the social network to interact with its customers. The company wants to “understand the direction of development” of the social network under the leadership of Musk.
CNBC points out that GM was one of the first to announce billions of dollars in spending to compete with Tesla in the battery electric vehicle segment.
Elon Musk completed the deal to buy microblogging service Twitter this week. He has already fired the former management of the social network, and also promised to restore deleted accounts and abandon the practice of a lifetime ban for users.
One of those who fell under such a ban was former US President Donald Trump. However, Trump said he would not return to Twitter and wished its new owner good luck.
