City triathlon competitions took place in the Kuban capital

Triathlon competitions were held in the capital of Kuban. Athletes over 18 years old competed in the Krasnodar sprint triathlon championship. The competitions took place on the basis of the Kuban stadium and in the swimming pool of the Dynamo Sports House. The regional center was represented by pupils of secondary school No. 3. The guys competed for victory in the 2km run, 300m swim and 8km bike race.
Simultaneously with the championship, a triathlon championship was held among boys and girls from 10 to 18 years old. Participants had to swim a 150-meter freestyle, overcome a 4-kilometer bike race and run a distance of 1,000 meters.
In total, 80 athletes tried their hand at triathlon competitions. As part of the competition, 12 sets of awards were played. Representatives of SShOR No. 3 won 8 gold medals, 8 silver and 6 bronze medals.
