Circular economy: representatives of new territories received additional education with the support of REO

Specialists from the new territories of Russia received additional education under the programs of the Russian Environmental Operator at the Russian Economic University named after. Plekhanov.

“At the Plekhanov University of Economics, the training in the further education programs “Creating a sustainable system for the management of municipal solid waste in Russia” and “Fundamentals and principles of a circular economy” has come to an end. 21 specialized specialists from the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions received free education. Now they will be able to apply their knowledge in practice,” said Denis Butsaev, general director of REO.

Specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Military-Civil Administration of the Zaporozhye Region, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Chistota” of the VGA of Melitopol, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Kherson Region, and the State Budgetary Institution “Ecological Operator of the Kherson Region” will be able to bring new knowledge to the work.

“I thank the educational program “REO” and the Plekhanov University of Economics for the opportunity to participate in the advanced training program. With its help, employees with experience in the field of solid waste management updated their knowledge. Colleagues from historical regions have the opportunity to dive into the legislation of the Russian Federation in this area in more detail,” added the acting director. Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Zaporozhye region Alexander Vorobyov.

Let us recall that the main task of REO is to form a comprehensive system for the management of municipal solid waste in Russia, which corresponds to the goals of the national project “Ecology”.
