Chuvashia will host the championship of Russia in mas-wrestling

From 23 to 25 September in Cheboksary on the basis of the Mountain Bike Center will be held the championship of Russia in mas-wrestling.
Mas-wrestling is a national Yakut sport, pulling a wooden stick. The duel lasts up to two victories of one of the wrestlers in two or three rounds. The victory in the fight is counted when one of the wrestlers managed to pull the opponent or if the opponent released the stick.
In Cheboksary, boys and girls of age groups 14-15, 16-17 years old, juniors and juniors 18-21 years old will compete for seven sets of medals. According to the regional Ministry of Sportsmore than 300 athletes will gather in the capital of Chuvashia, and the republic will present more than 80 mas-wrestlers.
Recall that earlier MK in Cheboksary said that Chuvashia rose two lines in ranking of regions according to the commitment of the population to healthy lifestyles.
