Chuvash “walruses” won 20 medals at international competitions

Seven gold, seven silver and six bronze medals were won by athletes from the Chuvashia team at international winter swimming competitions.
The competition took place over four days with the participation of 440 swimmers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, France, Belarus, and Switzerland.
The Chuvash team included Olga Susmetova, Vera Krylova, Elena Devederova, Anna Avetisyan, Ekaterina Gavrilova, Nikolai Artemyev and Mikhail Andronov.
The swims took place as part of the Bolshaya Neva Cup and the V stage of the Russian Winter Swimming Federation Cup.
