A resident of Chita, participant of the Velofest 2023 festival, Anton Chelpanov, became the winner of the All-Russian campaign “I Choose Clean Air” in the category for cyclists. The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Trans-Baikal Territory reported this on September 29.
“I am glad to represent my city and region. (…) A bicycle is my main means of transportation. I took part last year. I was pleased that in addition to the citywide standings, there was a personal one,” said the winner himself.
The promotion ran from May 27 to September 24, 2023. The organizers were the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The award ceremony took place on September 28 in Moscow.
Let us remind you that within the framework of the All-Russian campaign “I Choose Clean Air” there are different forms of activity. So, in 2022, as part of this action, Transbaikal residents planted pine seedlings.
