The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that following a meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and the head of the office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Yi, the parties agreed to jointly oppose all forms of unilateral intimidation.
It is specified that Beijing and Moscow, among other things, agreed to work together to promote the democratization of international relations.
“At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to jointly practice true multilateralism, resist forms of intimidation and engage in the democratization of international relations,” the Chinese ministry said.
Earlier, Wang Yi said that today Beijing and Moscow have a very good opportunity to continue close strategic cooperation to protect common strategic interests.
