Chinese Baidu creates a competitor to the ChatGPT neural network

Chinese internet giant Baidu announced launch of its own neural network, which is designed to compete with the sensational ChatGPT from the American company OpenAI. The next-generation chatbot will reportedly be called ERNIE and is scheduled to launch in March and is currently undergoing internal testing. It is promised that, like ChatGPT, Baidu’s neural network will be able to generate complex answers to written questions, write codes for simple programs like a calculator, create notes on given topics, joke, write poetry, etc.

Baidu is not the only major company to announce the release of a ChatGPT neural network competitor in recent days.
