China launches three research satellites into orbit

The China Space Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) reported that the first space launch of the new year was successfully carried out in the country today. The carrier rocket “Changzheng-7A”, according to the message, has delivered the research satellite “Shijian-23” into the near-Earth orbit.
It is reported that the launch was made from the Wenchang Cosmodrome on the island of Hainan. According to published information, the satellite delivered into orbit is mainly intended for scientific experiments and testing.
