The cascading staircase in Zheleznovodsk (Stavropol Territory) is considered one of the longest in Russia. The number of steps is more than 600, the total length is almost 900 meters. This is exactly the way the sports equipment was made, which the young vacationer dropped, the administration of the resort city reports.
The path of a children’s toy – a ball, was traced through the cameras of a smart city. As it turned out, the young vacationer dropped the ball from the well-known point of attraction of the resort – the fountain of mugs, but they managed to find the escaped projectile only on Ferrum Square.
“The height of our longest cascading staircase is 110 meters and the ordinary laws of physics did their job: the children’s ball went through the usual path of our vacationers and the family, together with the child who dropped the ball, could only find it at the end point – on Ferrum Square,” said head of Zheleznovodsk Evgeny Bakulin.
