Children will be taken out from the border Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts of the Belgorod region from today due to ongoing shelling, informed Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

“We are starting today to take children out of the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. Today the first three hundred children will be sent to Voronezh. I’ll try to go see them now,” he wrote.

Gladkov also reported on the deterioration of the situation in the city of Shebekino, which was fired at night from Gradov. As a result, several residential buildings and the school were damaged, four people were injured, two were hospitalized.

Earlier on May 28, Gladkov said that in the Belgorod region ahead of schedule completed academic year in all border municipalities. Exams will be held. Prior to this, the authorities of the region decided conduct celebration of the last call in a remote format. This was announced after a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine penetrated the territory of the region.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
