The Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow changed the preventive measure against foreign minors in connection with the beating of schoolchildren in the Aviapark shopping center and a Khimki school with the subsequent publication of video materials.
Instead of being taken into custody, they were given house arrest; the accused were released in the courtroom. Schoolchildren born in 2008 were charged with hooliganism by a group of people.
As Readovka reports, legal liability for them will be “softer”, since the hooligans are under 16 years old. According to the press service, the court took into account that the accused had not reached the age of majority, there were no facts indicating the intention and ability to hide from the court authorities.
