Children at “Conversations about the important” showed Okhlobystin: “A woman is like a mycelium”

On Monday, February 27, the lesson “Conversations about the Important”, which became practically obligatory for schoolchildren, was devoted to family values, and this time the actor Ivan Okhlobystin spoke to the children. Attention was drawn to a specific lesson edition 59.ru. The site notes that during the “conversations” children are often addressed by video by famous people representing a patriotic position, but this even last Friday evening, by the classroom hour, there was no video with a famous person on the project website. Only on Sunday, as journalists noticed, did a video with Okhlobystin appear on the “conversations” website, talking about the family for eight minutes. 59.ru writes that the videos should have been shown to all children from grades 1 to 11 and college students.
The video is based on an interview – a question appears on the screen, which is asked on behalf of the children, and Okhlobystin answers. Among other things, the actor was asked about the importance of separating “female” and “male” responsibilities in the family. He replied that a man is responsible for the outside world, he is a hunter, he is responsible for prey and leads a woman. And she, according to Okhlobystin, should be responsible for the comfort in the house, cooking and the birth of children.
“She is the mistress of the house. He is the master of the outside world,” said Okhlobystin.
He pointed to another difference between a man and a woman – answering the question “what is the inner strength of a Russian woman.”
“Why do women live longer? Women are constantly updated, it is necessary that they be ready for childbearing <...> A man for short distances: quick strike, grabbed, mammoth, run, eat. But the woman doesn’t. She, like a mycelium, spreads life around her.
Speaking about his family, Okhlobystin said that every year on December 31 “we have been going to church for more than twenty years” and that his family has its own family chat in the messenger. “Finally, electronics served good!” he added.
