Chelyabinsk volleyball players ended the year on a victorious note

In the final home match of 2022, the athletes from Dynamo-Metar beat the Tulitsa team with a clean sheet.

Matches of the women’s volleyball club traditionally gather a lot of fans. On December 28, the main New Year’s characters, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, met the audience at the entrance.

The good mood of the fans seemed to be transferred to the athletes. The Chelyabinsk team owned the initiative from the very first minutes of the meeting. The course of the game was completely under the control of the hosts of the site during the first two games, which allowed them to win them with a comfortable advantage.

Only in the final segment of the game the guests from Tula made attempts to turn the game around. Volleyball players from “Tulitsa” even managed to break into the lead for some time. But the owners of the site did not allow to do anything more. The result of the meeting is 3:0 (25:19, 25:17, 25:20).

Summing up the results of the match, Alexander Koshkin, the head coach of ZhVK Dynamo-Metar, noted that his wards played the first two games perfectly, but in the third game the team created problems for itself.

It is worth noting that only a week and a half ago the squads met in the final of the Cup of Russia. However, no fundamental changes were made to the current meeting.

“The lineup was changed, nothing else was changed, we prepared as always. I want to say a huge thank you to the fans, despite the weekday, there was incredible support today. Taking this opportunity, I want to congratulate everyone on the upcoming New Year! ”Added Alexander Koshkin.

The growing popularity of the club was also emphasized by the player of ZhVK “Dynamo-Metar” Maria Samoilova. She also thanked the fans for their support.

“The difference from the Cup match is that we understood that it was impossible to lose the third and fourth sets, we understood that we had to win with a score of 3-0. The mood was serious. And in terms of preparation, I won’t say that it was specific, we just didn’t have time for it, ”said Maria Samoilova.

The Chelyabinsk club will play the next game in 2023. It will take place in Chelyabinsk on January 8th. The rival will be ZhVK Proton from Saratov.
