Chelyabinsk football players have completed the program of the first round of the Russian Second League Championship. They tied in Moscow. Neither team was able to break through the opponent’s goal.
The hero of the first half is Chelyabinsk goalkeeper Daniil Veselov. He made two saves in one minute. Then the home team saved their goal: after Alexander Nosov’s shot, the Chertanovo defender cleared the ball out of the empty goal.
After the break, the Chelyabinsk team again began to increase pressure on the Muscovites’ defensive formations. They created multiple dangerous chances, but to no avail.
According to the head coach of FC Chelyabinsk Vitaly Panov, the team has prepared for the meeting with their opponents. “We tried to play in an organized manner and, overall, we coped with the task,” says Vitaly Panov. “In terms of the organization of the game, we look good, and when we start scoring, we’ll loosen up.”
