Cheer sports festival was held with great success in Kondopoga

On Saturday, December 10, Kondopoga hosted a regional cheer sports festival for the Cup of the Honorary President of the Cheer Sports Federation of the Republic of Karelia. The honorary president is the founder of the federation Ksenia Marasanova, it was in her honor that the winners received the cup. This year the festival was held for the first time and, what is significant, this year the organization celebrates its 5th anniversary. Now they want to organize a successful sporting event annually, opening the season for them.
According to the President of the Cheer Sports Federation Darina Orlova, 2022 brought with it another important event – the federation took a big step and received accreditation. This means that now official competitions will be held in the republic, as a result of which Karelian cheerleaders will be able to receive ranks and titles. Already in February, the regional championship and championship will be held in Karelia. Also, thanks to accreditation, athletes will be able to represent Karelia at all-Russian competitions. So, our team is scheduled to go to the competitions of the Northwestern Federal District, to the championship and the championship of Russia.
The chief referee of the first category Anton Kalinin stressed that now the Karelian federation has an average level, but the organization is developing all the time, and it is clear that a lot of work has been done. We shared the impressive results of this work in our photo report!
