The Cheboksary Hawks lost to the TsSP-Khimki team with a score of 78:84 in the return quarterfinal match of the Major League of the Russian Basketball Championship. However, it was the team from Chuvashia that reached the semifinals.
Khimki needed to win at home with a difference of at least 11 points (after a 73:83 defeat in Cheboksary), and they were close to this, but the Hawks held out.
