Legendary TV presenter Nikolai Drozdov continues to be in the hospital. Yesterday, the 86-year-old traveler underwent surgery. Today there has been a change in his condition. Nikolai Nikolaevich told about this to MK correspondents.
“I already feel good,” Drozdov says. “This morning they took my blood. Now it will be checked. The doctors said that if anything appeared in the tests, they would leave me in the hospital for a few more days.
According to Drozdov, the operation was successful.
– They did it to me without anesthesia: I felt everything, – says Nikolai Nikolaevich. “I didn’t worry before the intervention. I was offered to do general anesthesia, but I did not. At my age, this is dangerous: it can be fatal. So they gave me painkillers. And then 6 injections directly into the gut. Now such latest technologies exist: everything is done quickly. My operation lasted 15 minutes.
Nikolai Nikolaevich says that he is satisfied with the attitude of doctors to himself. The TV presenter is under constant medical supervision.
– I am here alone: my wife brought me and left, – says Nikolai Nikolaevich. – I follow all the recommendations of doctors. I have a very strict diet. Water, for example, you need to drink special, for children. In general, I’m happy with everything.
Recall that Drozdov was admitted to the hospital due to changes in blood tests. The TV presenter was found to have high cholesterol and PSA levels. This prostate specific antigen is produced by cells in the prostate. With inflammation or neoplasms of the prostate, the level of PSA in the blood rises significantly.
