Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” continue to play in the regular championship of the MHL season 2023-2024. The team from Nizhny Novgorod is the current holder of the Kharlamov Cup and feels great in the Golden Division standings. At the moment, Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” ranks 4th in the “Golden” division standings, having scored 62 points in 45 matches played. Alexey Isakov’s team has already secured its place in the Kharlamov Cup playoffs and can still catch up with the Omsk Hawks from 3rd position.
In the upcoming match of the regular season, Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” will fight for victory with opponents playing in the “Silver” division of the Eastern Conference. The Torpedo youth team went to Tolyatti for a match against Ladya, which takes 2nd place in Silver. Most likely, “Ladya” will play in the test matches, but it will no longer be possible to catch up with “Kuznetsk Bears” and enter the “Golden” division automatically.
