Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” continue to play in the regular championship of the MHL season 2023-2024. The team from Nizhny Novgorod is the current holder of the Kharlamov Cup and feels great in the standings of the Golden Division of the Eastern Conference. At the moment, Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” ranks 4th in the standings, having scored 64 points in 47 matches. In the first match, held on February 19, the Siberian Snipers turned out to be stronger than the Chaikas, beating the Nizhny Novgorod team with a score of 5:3. This victory allowed the Siberian Snipers to improve their tournament position and break away from the relegation zone to Serebro by 3 points.
