Chaika hockey players defeated Snow Leopards at home

On October 16, the hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” played the next match of the MHL regular championship for the 2023-2024 season. The current holders of the Kharlamov Cup continued their series of home matches with a confrontation with a team that returned to the MHL after a break and cannot yet get used to the current level of the league. The Snow Leopards, the best young hockey players in Kazakhstan who have the opportunity to play on the international stage, have come to Nizhny Novgorod.
The meeting between representatives of the “Golden” and “Silver” divisions of the Eastern Conference went according to the “Seagull” scenario from the very first minutes. The team from Nizhny Novgorod did not play for about a week, which played a positive role. The Chaika hockey players came out to the match charged and motivated, they immediately got down to business, and at the end of 60 minutes of pure playing time, they scored 7 goals that the Snow Leopards could not answer.
The next match of the MHL regular season will be played by the Chaika hockey players on October 20. The Nizhny Novgorod team will play away against Sputnik from Almetyevsk.
