The exhibition had something to see for fans of mobile games, athletes, lovers of country holidays, and fans of renewable energy.

The topic of AI, which blew up the technology world last year, became one of the main topics at CES 2024. Companies presented a whole scattering of gadgets and other devices using AI. The Rabbit company introduced a personal assistant R1, which, using voice commands, can plan a trip, make purchases, call a taxi, search for music and videos to suit your mood, schedule chores and tasks, make restaurant reservations, etc. For those who prefer a less busy schedule, Yarbo introduced an updated version of its robot gardener with AI Yard Robot. This is a kind of robotic vacuum cleaner that has already become familiar, but for working on home lawns or lawns. Using different attachments, Yard Robot can mow the lawn, fertilize it with granular or liquid fertilizers, remove debris and leaves, and clear snow in winter. Using AI, Yard Robot analyzes the optimal route of movement, avoids obstacles and dangerous areas such as a country pond or swimming pool.

Solar panels on roofs have long become a common sight in many countries around the world. But they still remain quite cumbersome, their installation takes additional time, and from an aesthetic point of view, the roof of a private house covered with panels can raise questions. Transparent solar panels, which can be built into the glazing of houses, are designed to solve this problem. The Japanese company inQs has been developing SQPV technology for several years, which makes it possible to create thin and transparent solar panels. At CES 2024 the company presented stained glass windows with these panels. Just one such small stained glass window is capable of generating enough energy to power a household fan.

Many experts consider this direction to be very promising, since over time, thin transparent solar panels can be built into the glazing of houses and even skyscrapers, which will make it possible to achieve, if not complete energy autonomy of the building, then at least significantly reduce energy consumption from external sources.

The theme of transparency was also picked up by TV manufacturers. LG introduced a commercial version transparent TV on organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). When turned off, such a TV essentially becomes invisible, without blocking part of the wall. The TV can also operate in energy-saving mode, displaying an image of a translucent aquarium with swimming fish. It is unlikely that you will have to change the water in such an aquarium, clean the walls, tinker with fish food and spend money on aerators.

Waterfowl will love the new generation of bone conduction headphones from Shokz, formerly known as AfterShokz. This company has been leading the bone conduction sports headphones market for several years.
